19 actors who started their career on 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer'

As a follow -up series of the beloved “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” is in the making with an almost pilot order at Hulu, the premiere date of the original show from 1997 is approaching his 30 -year anniversary.

Sarah Michelle Gellar is in last conversations to make the iconic title character again and there are dozens of productive actors who, like Gellar, have their start in the show. The popular supernatural drama was broadcast for five seasons at the Warner Bros. -Network before it moved to the United Paramount Network for the last two seasons.

Here is a list of 19 actors who started their career on “Buffy the Vampire Slayer”.

Sarah Michelle Gellar

Sarah Michelle Gellar, The Titular Buffy Summers from “Buffy The Vampire Slayer”, also played Daphne in the Live Action Film adjustment of “Scooby-Doo” and Kathryn in “Cruel Intentions”. She has expressed several characters in the animation series “Robot Chicken” and played Kristin Ramsey in “Wolf Pack” and Tanya Martin in “Dexter: Original Sin”.
Alexis Denisof

Alexis Denisof, who is married to colleague “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” Alum Alyson Hannigan, played Wesley Wyndam-Pryce in both “Buffy” and the spin-off series “Angel”. He then played the other in “The Avengers”, Sandy Rivers in “How I with Your Mother” and David Wilson in “Finding Carter”.
Amy Adams

Amy Adams played Cousin Beth in season five, episode six of “Buffy the Vampire Slayer.” She then received a prominent film career and earned six Oscar nominations. Adams has been released in films such as “Catch me if you can”, “Junebug”, “The Fighter”, “The Master”, “Her”, “Arrival” and the recently released “Nightbitch”.
Alyson Hannigan

Alyson Hannigan had roles in “Roseanne” and “American Pie”, but her role as a series of regular Willow Rosenberg in “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” launched her career to a different level. After the lead role in 144 episodes of the show, she continued with voting in shows such as “King of the Hill”, “The Goode Family”, “The Simpsons” and “American Dad.” She remains married to Alexis Denisof, her “Buffy” Co star.
Amber Benson

The career of Amber Benson was launched after playing the shy and withdrawal Tara Maclay in “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” for 47 episodes. She is still active in the industry, with credits about “Gray’s Anatomy” and “I saw the TV glow.”
Anthony Head

Anthony Head got his start in the United Kingdom in theater and television and became a staple of American households after the leading role as series Regular Rupert Giles in “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” for 123 episodes. His career continued to start roles in “Doctor Who”, “The Iron Lady”, “You, Me & Hen” and, in particular, “Ted Lasso” as Rupert Mannion.
Bianca Lawson

Bianca Lawson played Kendra in three episodes of “Buffy the Vampire Slayer.” Later she played Nikki in ‘Save the Last Dance’, Emily Bennett in ‘The Vampire Diaries’, Maya St. Germain in ‘Pretty Little Liars’ and Darla in ‘Queen Sugar’.
Charisma carpenter

Charisma Carpenter is perhaps best remembered for playing Cordelia Chase in “Buffy the Vampire Slayer.” After filming ended in “Buffy” and “Angel”, where she played in 90 episodes, she continued to work in television with credits on “Veronica Mars”, “Supernatural”, “Sons of Anarchy”, “Chicago PD”, ” “9-1-1” and, most recently, “Dynasty.”
Danny Strong

Danny Strong played Jonathan Levinson in “Buffy the Vampire Slayer.” He also played Doyle McMaster in “Gilmore Girls” and appeared in episodes of “How I with Your Mother”, “Mad Men” and “Girls.” Strong also wrote together “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay-Part 1” and “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay part 2.”
Emma Caulfield

Emma Caulfield played the Demon-Mortale Anya in “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” for 85 episodes and continued to work in television with credits on “Once Upon a Time”, “Wandavision” and “Agatha All two.”
James Marsters

James Marsters appeared in 97 episodes of “Buffy the Vampire Slayer.” Marsters then appeared in a wide range of films and shows such as “Dragonball Evolution”, “PS I Love You”, the “Spider-Man” Animated Show, “SuperNATURAL” and “Hawaii Five-0”. Marsters is also a musician and is the singer of the band Ghost of the Robot.

Nicholas Brendon

Nicholas Brendon played in almost every episode of “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” as Xander Harris. He was arrested several times and went to rehabilitation in the years since the show held him. Brendon still had a number of remarkable screen performances in the past decade, including a role in the thriller “Coherence” of 2013 and 21 episodes of “Criminal Minds”.
Pedro Pascal

Pedro Pascal played Eddie in season four, episode one of “Buffy the Vampire Slayer.” Pascal received several remarkable television roles and appeared in “Game of Thrones” as Oberyn Martell and in “The Mandalorian” as the title character.
