Police said two people were “critically injured” in a shooting in Commerce City on Friday evening.
Friday around 8 p.m., Commerce City officers responded to a 7-Eleven parking lot near 104th Avenue and US 85, according to a police statement.
When officers arrived, they found a man and a woman – both believed to be adults – in the parking lot with something police described as critical wounds. Paramedics were both transported to hospital and their current condition is unknown.
Officials with the Commerce City Police Department could not say how the two were injured Saturday confirmed that shots had been fired in the parking lot.
Police officers are looking for a person of interest seen on surveillance footage in the area and a black Dodge truck with no license plates. according to a Saturday morning update.
Police are asking anyone with information about the incident, person of interest or suspect vehicle to call 911.
No arrests had been made as of Saturday morning.
