Andy Harries to resign as CEO of the left bank photos

Andy Harries, the founder and CEO of Sony ownership left-wing bank photos and an exec producer in his hit show ‘The Crown’, can be switched to a role of executive chairman after 18 years at the helm of the company.

Harries will switch to the newly created roll 2026 and remain in position as CEO until there is a replacement. He will also continue as an executive producer on important and future left -wing bank photos, including the upcoming adjustment of James Graham’s “Dear England”, Stephen Butchard’s “This City Is Ours” (this week is being launched in London Screenings and Scott Frank’s new detective series for Netflix, “Department Q”, appears early summer.

“The legend is an over -commonly used term, except Andy Harries,” said Wayne Garvie, president of Sony Pictures Television. “He is a television legend and on photos of the Left Bank he has built one of the great global drama labels. Left -wing bank shows are smart, brutal and creative, such as the man himself. Everyone at Sony is overjoyed that we will continue our relationship with him in this new role. ”

In 2007, Andy received the Special Achievement Award from Bafta and in May 2011 he became a fellow from the Royal Television Society for excellent contribution to the broadcaster. In 2024 Andy received the British Press Guild Lifetime Achievement Award and received an OBE in the Birthday Honors list of 2019 for services on the television and film industry. “The Crown” alone has won 24 Primetime Emmy’s under a whole series of other prizes.

Our company changes with the lightning speed, and this new role means that I can concentrate on how Left Bank continues to take on the creative and financial challenges of producing top -uk -drama in a challenging environment, “Harries said. “But I don’t pick up the proverbial pipes and slippers! We have some great shows coming and I am excited to stay involved with them – and we have a few others our sleeves. I am incredibly proud of what we have achieved at the left bank in the last 18 years, the programs and the team that we have built, and look forward to being part of the next chapter in the story. “
