In the meantime, Tiktok does not remain available in Apple and Google App stores in the United States, while US President Donald Trump stood to approve the app provided that the US possess 50 percent of it.
Trump stated: “We have to save ticks because we have to save a lot of jobs. We don’t want to give our company to China … I agreed to approve Tiktok on the condition that the US 50 percent of TIKTOK …”
Tesla CEO Elon Musk greeted the decision of the US President-Elect Donald Trump not to ban Chinese social media app.
Musk believed that ticking ban was against freedom of expression.
However, he marked an imbalance and stated that although Tiktok is allowed to work in the US, X has been banned in China.
In a post on X he said: “I have been against a ticking ban for a long time because it goes against freedom of expression. Having said that, the current situation in which Tiktok is allowed to work in America, but X is not allowed to work in China is unbalanced . “
Earlier on April 19, Musk had opposed the ban on Tiktok, even though he said that the ban would have benefited from X.
“In my opinion, Tiktok should not be banned in the US, although such a ban can benefit the X platform. This would be contrary to freedom of expression and expression. It is not what America stands for.”
