“I didn’t love it,” the Nobody wants this the creator said on Bravo’s Monday, September 30 episode Watch what happens live with Andy CoheN. ‘If you watch these shows, there are train wrecks that I can’t stop watching. Suddenly your family is part of it and it becomes less fun.”
Music producer and composer David, 74, appeared on RHOBH next to his ex-wife Yolanda Hadid. The couple was married from 2011 to 2017. David is currently married to American Idol alum Katharine McPhee.
Erin explained to the host Andy Cohen“You want to be able to laugh about it. I prefer to be a voyeur and viewer. It’s just like people who have an Instagram account: they don’t post anything, but they want to see everything. Because it is chaos and you can enjoy the chaos.”
Despite her father’s split from Yolanda, Erin says she keeps in touch with her former step-siblings, including Gigi And Bella Hadid. Foster was also step-siblings Brody Jenner in the 1990s, when David was married Linda Thompson, Caitlyn Jenner‘s ex-wife from 1991 to 2005.
“Yes, I am,” Erin responded to a fan question about whether she still speaks to her former step-siblings. “Gigi just sent me a DM last night saying she started watching [Nobody Wants This]. The children are not getting divorced, only the parents.”
When asked if she keeps in touch with former housewife Yolanda, Erin said, “Not as much as the kids.”
Erin and her sisters, Sara And Jordanare David’s children from his second marriage to Rebecca Dyerwhom he married from 1982 to 1986. Speaking on the podcast ‘Sibling Revelry’ presented by Kate And Oliver Hudson in 2019, Foster and her sister Sara opened about not growing up with their father after he divorced Dyer.
“Our father raised other children. He didn’t raise us. He raised Brandon and Brody,” Sara said at the time. “So what was weighing so heavily on Erin was me. I was dealing with all my own emotional turmoil, which was watching my father raise other children. That was the thing that kept me up at night.”
“We never lived with our dad again after our parents split,” Erin added. “So from the ages of three and five, we lived with our mother, and our father lived in this $20 million house with Brandon and Brody. It had the trolley, the pool and this thing.
